Seed Scarification & Sowing
Sanded the outer seed shell until the light cotyledon became visible, then soaked in warm water for 24 hours. Sowed in a loose sandy mix. A vigorous red taproot emerged in under a week, followed by delicate leaves.

Carefully repotted and raised the root system by 3cm, revealing the beautiful turnip-shaped swelling beneath the soil line. Wired the main leader to create a subtle curves matching Japanese forest style.
